THE NEW VOGUE & FHOENIX STANDARD
Heather Moffet's latest evolution in her Soft-Treed Flexible Concept Saddle Designs.
The Fhoenix flexible concept saddle (patent pending)was the flagship concept saddle designed by
Heather Moffett, renown saddle designer. The Vogue flexible saddle is Heather's newest and in many
people's opinion, her perfected design!
The Vogue and the Fhoenix soft-treed saddle, are a revolutionary design unlike any other saddle on the
market. Their manufacturing process is unique in saddle-making, and their workmanship premium. The
Vogue & Fhoenix are part-treed saddles, however unlike with other half-treed where the structure is at the
front, our saddles' part-tree is in the cantle end and a minimal component. This part-tree forms the rigid
cantle ensuring that the gullet does not collapse, it also helps improve the stability and the traditional
appearance of the saddle; most importantly, this component can be felt by neither horse nor rider.
The New Vogue & Fhoenix Standard now have an even narrower twist and slightly deeper seat with a
closer contact feel than the original. Unlike most treeless saddles on the market, the design of their 'twist'
enables the rider to drop the thigh deeply, and not feel straddled, especially on a wider horse. In fact, the
Vogue & Fhoenix Standard offer probably the closest to a traditional treed twist amongst the treeless and
flexible saddles on the market today with one huge difference... they offer the UTMOST COMFORT beyond
any treed saddle experience!
Why? The whole seat core and flexible front arch are precision cut and built up from layers of materials
(including memory foam), tested and chosen for their shock absorbing and pressure resisting properties
and finished by fine hand workmanship. This construction method enables the saddle to flex with every
oscillation of the horse's back, giving great freedom of movement, with no restriction of the shoulders or
hindrance of the lifting of the horse's back.

within the panel pockets of the saddle which are velcroed shut:

The Fhoenix Standard is Premium Soft Italian Leather on the Seat, Soft Italian Leather on the underpanels
and Butt Leather on the Flaps.

Standard Finish is Smooth Leather Finish, but can select Suede Seat or Knee Flaps for no additional cost.
Can also select short, standard, or long length flaps.
Can select decorative stitching or no stitching detail on flaps.

The saddles should be always used with a so called ‘high wither’ cut saddle cloth or numnah, which will
again fit well up into the front arch of the saddle, not pulling across and down and causing pressure on
the wither as often happens with the usual cut of saddle cloths and numnahs – all should be cut high at
the front – thereby eradicating this common problem. It is highly recommended to use a saddle cloth with
a flat seam with the Suberpanel Fhoenix. We strongly advocate use of the Professional’s Choice
dressage girth and leather dressage leathers available here.
Both models are also designed to receive an optional Seat Topper an integral latex seat attachment for
riders in the colder winter climates or for personal preference all year long.
